Spain

We are here, and it´s amazing. We´ve spent the last 3 days in Barcelona, falling in love with the city, walking on Leo death marches, and we´ve even seen a bullfight (I cried my eyes out during the entire thing, but I found the experience quite amazing...both sociologically and psychologically. I´ve never felt such sadness and such exhilaration at the same time). We hopped a bus this morning to Tossa de Mar, which is a small town north of Barcelona on the Costa Brava. We are staying at an amazing little pension, run by a woman who speaks very little English. Leo talked us into a room with a balcony, and we are just enjoying the sun, the beach, and the sangria de cava.

More to come...and photos.

Leo and Jen! I just remembered your blog. You guys really suck, can't believe you're in Spain. How jealous am I, sitting here and studying for the bar. Have fun!

While you are at it (being "really suck") do not forget to wright down the names and addresses of the places you really liked - may be we will follow your footsteps one day.
Have a nice trip!

well, a coincidence indeed! jen, here are a few tips, forgot to give them last time. whatever you do at a bar, no matter how many hemingway books you've read, don't order calvados. it's a not-so-good apple brandy. actually, don't do anything hemingway did in spain- i.e. "woke up, caught some fish, drank three bottle of wine, drove to france, fished some more..."- it'll just give you a hangover. also, if you have time, visit lloret de mar. i was there twice with my grandparents, but i don't remember it at all.
post some pics of spain because connecticut is oh so uneventful, and give my regards to gospodin vladimirsky!

I am appealed at Iva's comments - what does it it mean - connecticut is so uneventful. Just yesterday, our two tom turkeys brought a young lady with them to eat cracked corn, the other day, the chipmunk run over my foot while i was sitting at the table in the backyard, the woodchuck made a 6 foot tunnel under the rock to enter my fenced in vegetable garden, two mice made a nest inside outside cooking stove, i can go on and on!
Uneventful indeed!

i should explain that iva lives in hartford, which is not nearly as exciting as weston.

you mean to say that Hartford does not even have mice, chipmunks, woodchucks and wild turkeys. That will make for really quite life.
we got the postcard today - it is so tempting - I can smell and feel it!
