This blog is coming to you from the coffee/surf/skate shop down the block from our new apartment. As promised, here are some photos of our place. So happy to be settled and to have unpacked our suitcases.

it is, unfortunately, an electric stove, and a small one at that. i don't think i'll be cooking anything too extravagant on it, or in my tiny oven, next to my tiny fridge...but it's adequate.

In all but the hallway and teh kitchen the ceiling is made out of concrete. It's quite odd, but has a pleasant cave-like feel.

it looks more modern than your place in ny... you have updated! i noticed the bulging closet, and the ukelele case.
is that an electric stove? have you cooked yet? or 'cooked' something that i could make?
