What's really nice is the sun is shining today, and I'm sitting in our study writing this post and listening to the birds chirp from the tree in my garden. Some days in London are good days.

It looks so nice and sunny! And your daffodils will bloom soon! Olga
i hope so. although they don't really get any direct sunlight, so i'm a bit concerned they won't bloom. we put in the heather ourselves, figuring that if it can survive in the moors of scotland, we won't be likely to kill it in our garden. we've also started our vegetable seedlings and just noticed our beet plants are just beginning to sprout. hopefully it will be warm enough to plant them in the garden soon.
I have noticed the heather - they look lovely. My neighbor, who has a large garden and sells his vegetables, plants beets in March, he puts seeds right in the garden and does not even cover them. You must have warmer weather now that we have. I will try to put beets and cabbages and peas out next weekend, unless we have another snowstorm. Olga
