Last night we went to see The Merry Wives of Windsor at the Globe theatre, thanks to Leo's parents, who got us tickets for Leo's birthday. The theatre was great, aside from the uncomfortable seats (benches too close together with no back rests..perhaps leg room wasn't an issue in the olden days). The play, which was one I had never read, was quite amusing and all of the actors gave great performances. Plus, once again, we were able to bring drinks into the theatre, which never gets old. Thank you for the tickets!

Another birthday thank you
Last night we went to see The Merry Wives of Windsor at the Globe theatre, thanks to Leo's parents, who got us tickets for Leo's birthday. I thought that this play is very fitting for the "new" "old" Globe theater, I am glad you liked it

I was great that we had covered seats too, since it started to rain during the show, drenching all of the people standing in the centre.
Yes, good to have the covered seats in case it rains. But they are very uncomfortable. Even if you rent a cushion, your butt will fall asleep 15 minutes into the show.
When we visited theater in April, we just walked around and did not try the seats, so I am so very sorry about your sore butts. For the next theater experience I will check the seats personally.
